Small, GBG listed, modern ale bar with fairly bland decor of mostly flora and fauna pictures. Almost two rooms with a seating area in the first section, furnished with two banquettes at Britannias plus two other iron based tables with stools. Beyond through a residual wall is the counter with five pulls serving local beers, Wishbone, Broadacres, Goose Eye, Bingley and a visitor from Harrogate. The beer is kept in a cold room to the left of the counter. There’s quad T-bar with a mix of brands and a Guinness solo for the keg fraternity. There’s an additional room with seating and a dart board plus the toilets, upstairs via the entrance porch.

Sister pub to the Beer Engine in Skipton. This micro pub is a lot bigger than their first outlet in Skipton, and comprises of two areas, the main bar with glass fronted cellar at the rear and a front seated area as you enter. Five handpumps with five ales, which were Oakham Citra and Oakham Scarlet Macaw, Hambleton Stallion, Dark Star APA and Titanic Plum Porter. I went for the Oakham Citra which was in good shape. There was also a choice of four ciders, at £3.60 a pint. To get here, we got the Keighley bus from Skipton bus station, which only took 15 mins.
